Ozempic For Breakfast | Dogfood for Dinner | Chapter 3
·The starting pistol fired, the pink smoke leaving the barrel of the unknown.
This bliss.
This weightlessness.
My eyes were wide open but I was at rest.
Was I floating or flying? I asked as I soared and dived.
The void was filled.
Heavy clouds of light darkness, an imbued drain of anxiety, a silent echo.
There was nourishment here and yet, a hunger stirred.
A yearning to feast on the atmosphere and drink the comfort of nothing.
Wide asleep, together.
Chapter 4
The shadow towered over me, a hypnotic form of churning obsidian.
Shrouded in the pink mist, the figure beckoned me to follow with its cosmic hand.
My head bobbed with agreement, its weight unburdened by the inertia of worry or fear.
A gravitational trail began to gently pull my body through the clouds, like a soft hand clasping my consciousness.
I gazed in wonder at the particles of bubble gum shimmering in the eternal horizon.
Warmth surrounded me as a drifted through this glowing space, a home of light and humming energy where time swirled and each thought dissolved slowly, like sugar on the tongue.
For the first time I could remember, I was dreaming.
Not waiting for the next ping, prompt, or pleasure.
Just dreaming.
Resting.
Floating.
The mist was my lullaby of safety.
The canvas of consciousness painted in a reverent tranquility its glistening clouds shimmered like a song.
Memories started to form in the haze, casting lights and sounds of familiarity and obscurity.
The colors from the clouds bloomed in vivid tones, spilling endlessly into the vast bliss.
And the sounds.
They swam in flawless form, rippling into my ears soft as a lover’s kiss.
I had no understanding of this world, and for once, understanding didn’t matter.
It felt profound, this place.
Floating in peaceful irrelevance, not sure of the time or the setting.
No expectations or desires, just the moment itself and the memories the haze chose to present.
There was no need to perform, to prove, or to prepare.
Only a placid presence of complete surrender.
The reverie held me gently, as if it had waited lifetimes for my arrival.
As I drifted, the invisible line went limp.
The shadow vanished into the mist.
